Among the nominees is Leadville’s Lindsey Parlin who presently serves as Lake County’s Attorney. Rounding out the top three picks are Steven Mallory of Eagle and Jonathan Shamis of Carbondale. The finalists were selected in a meeting in Leadville on July 15, 2013.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from July 16, 2013, within which to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Lake County. Comments regarding any of the nominees may be sent via e-mail to the governor at: gov_judicialappointments@state.co.us
