Judge’s Cemetery Tour Tonight, Sold Out on Saturday

The Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce & Judge Neil Reynolds is proud to present The Evergreen Cemetery Tour.

Join Judge Reynolds on a brisk October evening for this one-of-a-kind historical jaunt through an even more historical cemetery. Judge Reynolds family has lived in Leadville for over 145 years, making the Judge the most knowledgeable gentleman when it comes to Leadville folks: living or dead!

The judge’s Saturday tours are sold out, but there’s still room on tonight’s (Oct. 25) tour at 8 p.m. The cost of the tour is $10 per person. The proceeds benefit the chamber and they will be serving hot cider and cookies to get everyone warmed up before the tour. Wear sensible shoes, dress warm, bring a flashlight.

Reservations are required. Call 719-486-3900, stop by the Visitors Center at 809 Harrison Ave. or email the chamber at to reserve a spot before this tour sells out.

Pumpkin Patch on Saturday at NEW  Location

The Pumpkin Patch will be held tomorrow, Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in a NEW LOCATION.

Because of the new floor installation at the 6th Street Gym, this year the Pumpkin Patch will move to Pitts Elementary School.

But don’t get spooked. They’ll still have the same great fun and games and Halloween goodies as always.

Don’t miss out on the “Penny Pitch,” the Costume Contest and everybody’s favorite, the Pie Toss! They will also be lots of baked good, celebrating the fall season!

This is a FREE family-friendly event with games, prizes, costumes and more! Come to the fun at Pitts SATURDAY!

Get Your Spook on at the Stapleton Haunted House

The Stapleton Haunted Mansion (118 W. 7th St.) will be open tomorrow Saturday, October 26 and then again on Thursday, Halloween Night, from 6 – 9 p.m. Come and get your spook on in a fun, safe environment located in an historic 1880s carriage house. Children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $5 per person.
