Halloween Happenings in The Magic City
Leadville knows how to celebrate Halloween in a genuinely spooky manner. So here’s a run down of the scheduled fun for kids and adults!
Trick or Treat Street will be held on the first two hundred block of West 7th Street on Halloween starting at dusk. This is a great, safe way for Leadville kids to have the full trick or treat experience in a safe, family friendly environment. Most of the homes on these blocks generously participate with fabulous decorations and plenty of candy for costumed kids.
TRICK OR TREAT STREET – 2011
The Stapleton Haunted House (118 W. 7th St.) will be open tonight from 6 – 9 p.m. Come and get your spook on in a fun, safe environment located in an historic 1880s carriage house. Children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $5 per person.
Once the kids come down off the candy rush and are tucked in with the babysitter for the night, the 2-mile-high adult Halloween extravaganza begins! And this year, there’s a lot of it!
