Live Music at The Scarlet Tonight!
Has all this snow and cold got you feeling a bit of cabin fever? Then it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and paint the town red! Tonight, Feb. 7 The Scarlet Bar on the corner of 4th & Harrison is having live music.
So, roll up our sleeves and get down to the hardworking, fun tunes of Woodshed Red. The dancing and music starts at 9:30p.m.
Here’s some info from Woodshed Red’s online bio:
Woodshed Red hails from the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Their sound is like a train ride through the mountains where it was created. It blends the beauty of the snowy peaks, with the bends of slowly winding creeks, and the grit of the sheer rocky cliffs into a audible journey with plenty of fresh air.
The drums like the wheels of the train along it’s cold steel track, the bass like the hollowing chants of the rocky canyons, the fiddle singing away like a somber song bird, and the guitar like a herd of buffalo, gently pushing their way across the grassy plains. All the while, haunting, bluesy vocals harmonize to tell the stories of lives shaped by this colorful landscape.
