College Scholarship Available for Lake County Students

The Vonnie’s Voice Committee announced via their Facebook Page, that scholarships in the amount of $1500 will be given to two Lake County High School students. LogoColorNamed in honor of Kindergarten Teacher Vonnie Flores, preference will go to students majoring in education at a post-secondary institution. Please visit the high school counselor’s office or VonniesVoice.org to obtain an application. The deadline to apply is Saturday, April 26, 2014 by 5 p.m. Eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be 2014 graduating LCHS seniors going on to study at a college or university.
  • Acceptance letter from the college or university you plan on attending.
  • Deadline: Saturday, April 26, 2013 by 5 p.m.
  • Preference to those majoring in education at a post-secondary institution.
