Hatchery Snowshoe/Ski Tour & Fun On Sunday

More winter fun is on the way this Sunday, March 9  as the Friends of the Leadville National Fish Hatchery host a guided tour of the hatchery grounds. Hatchery SignThis FREE event begins at 1 p.m. from the parking lot. The tour will be followed by hot chocolate, hot cider and s’mores shared around a campfire. Zumba Dance Program Now Offered by Recreation Dept.

The Leadville Recreation Department is now offering Zumba a dance fitness program that was created by Columbian dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez in the 1990’s.Fitness dance

This fun program involves both dance and aerobic elements, incorporating hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, menengue, mambo and cumbia. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring!
