Grab Your Shovel, Democracy is Piling up at City Hall

So how’s the snow looking in your neighborhood? Has your street opened back up to two lanes yet? Are you looking for someone to talk to about it; to really have your voice heard? Well, this Thursday is your chance. . . . at least for Leadville (city) residents.

City snow removal will be the topic of a special meeting this Thursday, April 10 at City Hall from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

City snow removal will be the topic of a special meeting this Thursday, April 10  to be held at City Hall from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Public Welcome.

The Leadville City Council is having a special meeting this Thursday, April 10 concerning the creation of a snow removal plan for the City of Leadville. The gathering is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 pm, at City Hall. 

An email distributed by Leadville City Councilmembers stated that they would like “to have as many community members as possible to help us find solutions and easy ways to make snow removal timely, safe, and advantageous. Please bring your concerns and solutions regarding snow removal in the city.”

So once you get shoveled out from this last round of spring snow, head on over to City Hall this Thursday and see Democracy in action!CityHall_MayorIn_post
