Leadville Hospital, Middle School Featured in Film

Even the locals got to see some camera time as the Audi car company was in town this week filmed an internet documentary at the local hospital and middle school. The film is scheduled to post by Mother's Day, May 11.

Second Physical Therapist Joins St. Vincent Hospital

St. Vincent Hospital’s new Physical Therapist, Jeff Moore, PT, DPT says that he is passionate about helping people return to the recreational activities they love. Jeff joined Andy Hofer, PT and Director of St. Vincent Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department, in late March.

Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and went on to pursue his graduate degree in physical therapy. Jeff received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. Jeff and his wife, Nicole are former Leadville and Eagle Valley residents and are excited to raise their 2 children in the Rocky Mountains. 

“Jeff has exceptional skills and training. In recent years he worked with leaders in our field including those at Howard Head Sports Medicine Center in Vail. He brings with him advanced training in skilled manipulation and myofascial release,” Andy Hofer commented. 

St. Vincent Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department offers geriatric care, post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation as well as sports medicine for recreational and elite athletes. 

Moore is an outdoor enthusiasts. He stated, “I am happy to call Leadville home and I look forward to meeting local residents on the slopes and trails as well as when they need my help with physical therapy.”  

St. Vincent Hospital Physical Therapy Department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 719-486-7180.
