Common Reader Author Comes to CMC – Leadville 

The 8th Annual Common Reader program is underway, so be sure to get your copy of the book and join the group!  Sponsored by Colorado Mountain College, these programs are designed to provide students, staff, faculty, and community members with a common intellectual experience to stimulate discussion, critical thinking, and encourage a sense of community.Cabin Fever book cover

In this case, participants will be reading “Cabin Fever: A Suburban Father’s Search for the Wild” by Tom Montgomery Fate. As part of the program, the college has arranged for a free public reading from the author next week on October 22 at 7 p.m. Please see book trailer video below.

If you are interested in participating in the Common Reader Program, hard copies of “Cabin Fever,” can be found at the New Discovery Building (front desk) or the Lake County Public Library.
