The Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m on Harrison Avenue.  This year’s theme is “A Caroling We Will Go!” and entrants are asked to pick their favorite Christmas carol and base their float or parade entry on that carol. If your business, organization, or family would like to be a participant in the Parade of Lights, everyone is welcome to join the festivities.

After the Parade of Lights Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures and Christmas list wishes.

Following a wonderful Leadville tradition, Santa and Mrs. Claus are planning on riding along in the parade, and will be listening to Christmas wish lists from children inside the courthouse when the parade is over.  Area merchants will provide hot chocolate and cookies after the parade to complement the evening’s festivities.

Entry forms for the parade can be picked up at the Leadville Visitor Center at 809 Harrison Ave or downloaded HERE
