Emergency Exercise Continues in Leadville Today
Just a reminder that the “Emergency Exercise” continues in Lake County today, as local and regional law enforcement and emergency responders will be conducting an “Active Shooter” exercise. Residents will see emergency exercises being conducted in and around the Lake County Courthouse today, but not the road closures that caused quite a bit of frustration yesterday. According to local officials, most of the training will take place in the “Sheriff’s parking lot” off of W. 5th Street. Please take extra care if you are traveling in this area today.
