Woodshop Students Build Benches for Middle School

Last week before school let out for the summer, Scott Smelser’s Lake County High School Building Trades class presented the new benches, picnic table and planter  they made for the newly remodeled Lake County Intermediate School playground. The class did a great job and can be proud to know that these new additions will be around for years to come! Panther Pride!

Obit_Spacer_ThinLizardo Honored By Classmates, Celebration Tonight

Students at Lake County Intermediate School held a remembrance event last week in honor of Fifth Grader Marc Lizardo who died tragically in an early morning fire on May 30 at his family’s home. Students at the Leadville middle school created homemade “prayer flags” to honor their former classmate and hung them on the fence surrounding the recently re-designed playground.
