Leadville’s resident bagpiper Collin McFee will be striking up the pipes for The Cloud City’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Thursday, March 17.

The important thing to note about this year is the time for the parade has been pushed back and will now take place at 4:30 p.m. This will allow students plenty of time to wrap up school work and head down to historic Harrison Avenue to catch all the shillelaghs and shenanigans. Parade marchers should meet as usual in front of the Mining Museum beforehand, with the parade taking the traditional route down Harrison Avenue. Everyone is invited to don their favorite greenery and march with the group or simply watch from the sidewalks.

The Leadville Lions Club will be sponsoring their annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on St. Patrick’s Day March 17 from 4 – 7:30 p.m. at the historic Silver Dollar Saloon in downtown Leadville. Everyone is invited.Spac_50
