Class of 2016 Has Milestones in Weeks Ahead

As the school year starts to wind down, thoughts turn to graduation. So here are some upcoming dates to mark for the cap and gown season.

One week from today on Saturday, May 21 graduating Lake County High School seniors are invited to Baccalaureate Mass at Annunciation Church at 4:30 p.m. The Mass is being sponsored by the Catholic Daughters and will be followed by a reception in the parish hall. LCHS seniors are asked to wear their caps and gowns. Please RSVP to the Holy Family Parish office 719-486-1382 by Wednesday, May 18.

Then on Thursday, May 26 it’s Class Day at Lake County High School. Get ready to get inspired as this day of marking notable achievements, as well as the distribution of impressive amounts of scholarship funds to graduates continuing their education.

Then finally the BIG day: The Lake County High School Graduating Class of 2016 will receive their high school diplomas and take the next step on the journey of their lives! Congratulations to all those Panthers, parents, teachers and staff. You did it!
