The P.E.O. Poinsettias have arrived in Leadville Today, bringing some Christmas color to our snow-laden mountain town! Pictured here Anne Dougherty places a bow on a beautiful red Poinsettia. These cheery plants come in a variety of colors and prefer a sunny, south-facing windowsill or bright filtered light. Don’t press them close to a cold windowpane or they won’t last long! The sale of P.E.O. Poinsettias helps fund scholarships for local high school girls. Thanks to all of these P.E.O. sales ladies who continue this holiday tradition in support of women’s education!
