The Week According to Ski Cooper
When someone in Leadville says they’ve been skiing all day, it’s silly to ask “where?” The answer is invariably “Cooper.”

Home to the most laid-back mountain and the best deals, Ski Cooper/Chicago Ridge is the most feasible place to get a run in before work, after work, or on a day off. That’s because it’s close, cheap, and navigable. Click here to read more about Ski Cooper on Leadville Today.
While the season has been in full swing with Two-fer Tuesday’s, $30 Thursdays, and Aprés Ski on the weekends, Cooper is bringing it to another level in February with deals for every weekday and more music. Too bad it’s the shortest month.
Here’s the week according to Ski Cooper:

Ski Cooper continues their incredible $30 Thursdays this season with live music Apres Ski at Katie O’Rourke’s Irish Pub. Photo: Brennan Ruegg/Leadville Today.
On Men’s Monday a male’s adult lift ticket enjoys a free beer and appetizer at Katie O’Rourke’s Irish Pub. Two-fer Tuesday continues this month every Tuesday, two adult lift tickets cost just 52 bucks. Women’s Wednesday is next, in which a woman’s adult lift ticket is good for a free glass of wine and an appetizer at Katie O’Rourke’s. Every Thursday is $30 Thursday, followed by live music during Aprés Ski from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.Food Pantry Friday finishes off the week of deals. Bring in a donation of non-perishables to receive $5 off the price of a lift ticket. Donations go to St. George Episcopal Church‘s Food Bank of the Rockies on February 3 and 17, and to the First Presbyterian food bank on February 10 and 24. It’s a great way to help your neighbor, clean out the cupboards and save money at the slopes.
What else is on the ticket in February at Ski Cooper? The fourth Cooper Cup race is held on Sunday, Feb. 19. For Aprés Ski, Carry Nall of Groovespeak is scheduled February 9, Ellen Rosenburg & Company on February 16, and Leon Littlebird on February 25. Open booking is still available for the evening of Thursday, Feb. 23.
On Friday, Feb. 17 the Annual 10th Mountain Division Ski-In is scheduled at Ski Cooper. The memorial will be celebrated all day with skiers descending the mountain around noon. A Memorial Service at the 10th Mountain Division Monument starts at 3:15 p.m.
