Monday’s Library Program Features “Interlaken”

Twin Lakes’s famous “Interlaken” will be the topic of discussion for a Friends of the Lake County Library Program tomorrow, April 23.

Come along on this historic, visual hike as locals Janice Fox and Lexie Palmore present “Interlaken.”  Many have done the popular summer hike and read the signs along the way, but this program will provide all the other interesting facts you’re wanting to hear.

Lake County librarian and historic go-to gal Janice Fox will share the history of the area. Then Leadville artist and owner of the Twin Lakes Boat Tours will discuss the restoration work and where things efforts stand today. So come, learn about the area and the programs you can help with to assure this gem is around for generations to come!

Doors open at 6 p.m., program starts at 6:30 p.m. presented at the Lake County Public Library Amax room, 1115 Harrison Avenue. This could be a standing room only crowd, so stop by the library to pick up your free ticket for guaranteed seat!
