Water, Sanitation Board Election Results

Lake County residents took to the polls yesterday, May 8 for two special elections. Here are those results. In the Parkville Water District election the three seats for the Board of Directors will be filled by the top three vote-getters and be seated at the next water board meeting.

  • Andrews  Morris  – 122 vootes
  • Cheryl Wells  – 117 votes
  • Daniel Duran  – 103 votes
  • Rego Omerigic  – 95 votes

On the other side of town, the Leadville Sanitation District saw the two unopposed, 4-year positions filled by the only two candidates running, with vote tallies as follows.

  • Leslie Parlin – 153 votes
  • Kenneth Berger  – 121 votes

For the two year position the Sanitation Board will see a new member as Jane Gowing took the seat with 113 votes over Joseph R. Hren count of 87.
