Celebrating Independence with a Special Flyover
This Independence Day, the sky over Colorado will be adorned with more than just the colorful displays of fireworks. The Colorado Air National Guard is set to conduct a remarkable flyover featuring F-16C Fighting Falcons as part of the Fourth of July festivities. The flyover will take place on July 4, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m., offering a spectacular sight for Coloradans celebrating their freedom.
A Message from the Command
U.S. Air Force Colonel Carrie Worrell, commander of the 140th Wing, expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “What better way to demonstrate our independence as a nation than with a show of force featuring our mighty F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft as they blaze a trail across the beautiful State of Colorado this Fourth of July?” She further emphasized the Colorado Air National Guard’s commitment to defending the state and nation, highlighting that the sound of the aircraft represents the “sound of freedom” familiar to many.
