2. Forest Service Motorized‐Use Plan Update
The Pike & San Isabel National Forests are updating their Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs) as required by a 2015 settlement with several conservation groups.

What’s Happened: After reviewing public and internal feedback, the Forest Service has refined its proposed motorized‐travel plan.

Next Step: A Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will be published in August 2019, opening a 45-day public comment period.

3. Solvista CEO Named to State Behavioral Health Task Force
Brian Turner, CEO of Solvista Health, has joined Governor Polis’s new Behavioral Health Task Force.

Task Force Mission: By June 2020, develop Colorado’s “Behavioral Health Blueprint” and recommend improvements for mental‐health and substance‐use services. Implementation begins July 2020.

About Turner: Formerly Deputy Director of the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council, Turner spoke in April to NAMI High Country about evolving mental‐health policies and care delivery.
